Greetings friends!
I hope everyone is enjoying some summer! For those of you who have not been able to attend one of our Discussion and Networking meetings, I wanted to share with you the plans we have for expanding Find Your Next Calling, and the feedback we’ve received that we are incorporating into those plans.
First, here is a summary of what we’ve put in place thus far:
- Website / blog
- Email newsletter every other Monday morning
- Discussion and Networking meetings every other Tuesday at noon Eastern
- Interviews with individuals who have launched their own business, subject matter experts, and authors of books relevant to this work
- Facebook Group, Facebook Page, YouTube channel, Instagram
All of these are completely free – no subscription or membership required.
So where do we go from here? Based on your feedback, here’s what’s coming next:
- Our first Online Course starts September 11, and spans 7 sessions over a period of 10 weeks; registration is now open. The course will help you identify your new calling, discern and validate whether it is a good idea and a fit for you, and learn how to set it up and launch it into the world.
- Ways to celebrate progress. We offer everyone the opportunity to do this at each of our Discussion and Networking Meetings, and we encourage everyone to use the private Facebook Group for this purpose.
- Ways to get feedback on business ideas. Our July 11 meeting will be dedicated to this purpose. We will periodically repeat this opportunity.
- We will soon add a Resources page to the website, starting with a list of recommended books.
- We are investigating the possibility of an in-person retreat sometime in Spring 2024
